Demi Lovato: My make up inspiration.

In a world that seems to be obsessed with Kim Kardashian's make up looks, I personally look to Demi Lovato for inspiration. She is ALWAYS on point. I love how dramatic her make up is, and how easily it can be achieved as everyday looks.

These are some of my favorite looks of hers. I will be recreating them and then posting photos of what I did and what I used. Let me know which ones you guys like:

Subtle going out make up

I had girls night a few days ago and decided to go with a more subtle form of glam make up. I was recovering from a stomach flu at the time so I figured I should focus on making myself look healthy rather than trying to create a dramatic look. This is what I went with:

>Bronzer (used for contouring): MAC Bronzing Powder in Golden to Shop

>Blush- MAC Powder Blush in Melba

>Lips- Sephora Glossy Gloss in Rusted Rose

Fake lashes- idk brand, they were cheap ones I found at the drug store. 

Overalls

The 11 year old in me is excited about the new craze over overalls. When I was in the 5th and 6th grade. I had overalls in every color and texture and pattern. And here they are, back again!

No sure if I will be participating in this trend as an adult mainly because my body shape will not flatter the overall lol. As a kid, I didn't have to worry about having my boobs peeking above the top part or making sure the crotch doesn't ride up since my ass has gotten massive.

What do you guys think? is it worth it? should I give it a shot? Ashley and Gwen look killer in them, not sure if I will though...

Ombré

I'm jumping on the ombré wagon a little late, and now my only regret is that I wish I had gotten in earlier because I love my hair!!! What do you guys think of the ombré look?!!

Everyday makeup/my return

I don't know why I keep fading away from blogging. I've been too busy, I guess. Blogging is a huge interest of mine and I miss it every time I go away. I will do everything in my power to stay connected and provide you with the best advice I possibly can. 

Here is today's make up look. I was feeling last fall's wine lipstick fad. I didn't want to go too dark as it is summer (although it's been in the 70s/low 80s this week). I added a lighter blush to create some brightness. What do you guys think. Opinions on dark lipstick in the summer?

>Lips: Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Lip Pencil in Plummy (also wearing mint EOS lip balm. I used the lip liner and added lip balm to blend it through my lips)

The power of make up

This morning as I went through the daily ritual of putting on make up, it dawned on me just how much you can change your face with good make up technique. I finished my eye shadow and proceeded to contour half of my face. The results were shocking even to a make up addict like myself. Little ray of sunshine

When I came to work today, everyone was all over my LYD (little yellow dress). My coworkers were loving the bright summery color and the shape of the dress. Best part, this dress cost me about $12 at Old Navy!! What do you guys think? You guys approve of bright colors in the summer?
